There was always something about the weather.

In 2015 we decided to do a bike trip across Morocco and somehow ended in England. There were a lot of ferry rides, fast food, cigarettes and the open road. It was May and still quite fresh in Germany. We decided to get out and drove our VW bus all the way through Europe down to the coast of Spain. Don't think it took us longer than two days - we were driving all the time.

In Morocco the days were warm and shadow was rare, the nights were cold almost freezing. It took me a day and I got a cold. We brought whiskey in a Kleen Kanteen bottle. One night in Taourirt we drank it in our hotel room within less than 2 hours - I haven't been that drunk in quite a while. I puked it all out. The bathroom was all tiles - floor, wall, ceiling.

I love the country but the heat got to me fast. We decided to do a turn around and ferry back to Spain. We drove all the way across Spain within a day and in the north we took the ferry to England.

In England it was, of course, raining. We rode in the rain for a couple of days, warmed up in Pubs a couple of nice. Everything was so green and british and boring. My cold intensified.

And then, at one point, I had enough. I left my bike in the bus, let my dear friend ride on alone and took the plane back to Berlin. I slept throughout the flight.

It was a fun trip but also bizarre. There was always something about the weather...
